A Heart for Christian Education
Mrs. Lashonda Mims founded Soren Christian Academy with a divine calling to revolutionize Christian education. As a devoted mother and educator with over 15 years of experience in both traditional and homeschool settings, she witnessed firsthand the challenges families faced in providing quality, affordable Christian education.
"I saw too many families struggling to choose between excellent education and their financial stability," Mrs. Mims reflects. "God placed it on my heart to create something different - a school that would never turn away a child due to financial constraints, while maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence rooted in biblical truth."
Her vision was born from personal experience. As a single mother raising her son Jihad, she understood the weight of educational decisions and the desire to provide the very best for our children. Through prayer and perseverance, she developed the concept of a tuition-free, AI-enhanced Christian academy that could serve families worldwide.

Mr. Jihad Davis, son of founder Mrs. Lashonda Mims, serves as Assistant Principal and Lead Developer, bringing his mother's educational vision to life through cutting-edge technology. With a background in software development and a heart for ministry, Jihad bridges the gap between traditional Christian education and modern innovation.
"Growing up, I watched my mother pour her heart into education," Jihad shares. "She would stay up late creating lesson plans, worrying about students who couldn't afford quality education, and praying for ways to reach more families. When she shared her vision for Soren Christian Academy, I knew God was calling me to use my technical skills to make her dream a reality."
As the architect behind the academy's AI-powered learning platform, Jihad has created a system that personalizes education while maintaining the human touch that makes Christian education special. His innovative approach combines artificial intelligence with biblical wisdom, ensuring that technology serves to enhance rather than replace the personal relationships that are central to Christian learning.
